We believe that reviving the lost art of dressing, behaving and thinking like gentlemen benefits ourselves and the world around us.

Unplugging for the weekend.

GNTLMN x Strawfoot tote (no laptop inside!), vintage LL Bean duffle, saddle shoes (never socks), a good book by new friend AJ Jacobs, and flowers for my gracious hosts. - Wesley

Side note: This Sunday is Mother’s Day. We love that you’re preparing something thoughtful to make her feel appreciated.

LL Bean one of my favorite brands and I’d like to put it out into the universe that we’d love to work with them on an amazing project in the future. We’ve got time. - Wesley

This weekend was spent in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park enjoying the snow, the views, the sounds of young families having fun, and some quality me time.
I had my GNTLMN x Strawfoot Handmade Tote Bag in tow and was pleased to see how well it has been developing it’s own identity through use and age. The waxed canvas gets better looking at it gets more beat up, the vegetable tanned leather changes colors and increases in softness, and the shape of the tote forms to it’s use.
Here’s to hoping for a bit more snow around these parts soon. - Wesley

GNTLMN Travel Log - Oyster Bay, NY
Oyster Bay is only about an hour and fifteen minutes from downtown Brooklyn, but at the same time it’s a world away. Once in a while I am fortunate enough to visit a wonderful family of friends that lives out there, and we take long walks, play board games and enjoy the specific type of solitude only a coastal town can bring. - Wesley
