Yesterday Team GNTLMN and the rest of our Studiomates community was treated to a visit by Colum Egan, master distiller of the Irish whiskey distillery Bushmills. Since 2002 Colum has been responsible for all the critical stages of whiskey production - all of them carried out at the distillery itself.
Bushmills and GNTLMN share a set of core values that includes a focus on creating a lasting and timeless product, a long term view, and a personal approach to creating a quality handcrafted product and company.
Colum told stories of the old days, educated those not that familiar with drinking whiskey on the creation process and the history, and answered absurdly geeky questions from our resident office whiskeyholic Cameron Koczon. A great afternoon was had by all. - Wesley
